Join us at SusTec/ sus.lab at ETH Zürich with a dual position working on our industry projects on key sustainability topics and to develop cutting edge teaching.


We are looking for an impact-driven researcher/project manager, ideally with a Master in Engineering or Economics and some industry/consulting experience from internships. German language skills are a strong plus.


The position will be split 50/50 on two tasks:

1) Conducting projects in sus.lab – our “think and do” tank as a researcher/ project manager. We work on projects in the circular economy and decarbonization across industries


2) Supporting the complete revamp of our signature lecture on corporate sustainability in the ETH Zurich’s master program


The position is 100% and initially for 1 year, with the possibility to continue either within sus.lab as a project manager/ researcher or start a PhD at SusTec (depending on performance and availability of positions).



SusTec is the Chair for Sustainability and Technology, a research group at ETH Zurich’s Management Department, working across technology, policy and management science to advance the transition to a sustainable economy.

sus.lab is an initiative of SusTec, a «think and do tank» with the mission to create impact on sustainability based on science and a team of highly motivated individuals with diverse backgrounds in management consulting, entrepreneurship and engineering.

Important note: Working remotely is not possible due to Swiss regulations and rules of ETH. You have to live in Switzerland while you work.
